Bear - Hound Hunts

We also offer guided hound hunts for bear. Our dogs are top notch, and our guides know the territory and this adds up to a very high success rate! Be prepared for some intense and exciting action during this hunt. Your changes are very good at harvesting a trophy bear during hound season. The largest bear taken at our camp during hound season was a monster that weighed in at 545 pounds! We hunt off of our baits in the North Maine Woods, as well as baits that we have on farm land east of Allagash.

Just like our bait hunts our hound hunts include room and board, three meals a day, all of your transportation while hunting, and skinning, quartering and freezing your bear. This is surely a hunt that you will remember for a lifetime!
