Buck Stop Camps specializes in trophy bear hunting in Northern Maine. Our hunts are over very well established active baits in two seperate areas of the North Maine Woods. We also offer hound hunts for black bear with a great success rate. Hunting is our only business at Buck Stop Camps, so be prepared for an experience of a lifetime. All bait hunts include room & board, 3 meals a day, transportation to and from bait sites, and skinning and quartering bear. Hound hunts include the same amenities. We only book around 20 hunters per week so we are able to give you the service and attention you deserve.

We have many hunters who have returned for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th hunts. Our goal is to give you a clean place to stay, family style meals, a hunt you will remember and good clean fun.

We are located in Allagash, ME. The closest airport is in Presque Isle, 82 miles from our camp. We offer airport shuttle service for a fee. There is also Bangor Int. Airport 4 hours away.
